Italian Pizzeria - Durham

Love me some Italian Pizzaria!!! It's the only one in NC that even comes close to my beloved NY pizza! The dough is not heavy and clumpy, rather it has the perfect mixture of fluff, and crispness and a little sweet...absolute perfection. The toppingsare always fresh, and all of the other menu items are fabulous. Love the fried zucchini! The serving sizes are also plentiful,you definitely don't go home hungry!

Pizza is good better than most around, cheese steaks are awesome.

I placed my order by phone and went to pick the food up. The person that answered the phone was polite and repeated the order back to me correctly. I waited 10 minutes and went to the restaurant. The establishment was clean. A young lady greeted me andasked me what I ordered. The food was ready when I got there. The order was accurate. The food was still warm when I got homeand very delicious. I had a chicken roll and my fiancé had a steak and cheese sub. We both had fries. Yummy!!

I grew up eating at the Italian Pizzeria on Guess. I?ve never had such a bad experience with IP. Ordered a pizza with spinach, ricotta, sausage and black olives. The spinach was defrosted frozen spinach, not fresh and they didn?t even drain it so it madethe whole pizza soggy. Then they just smeared the ricotta cheese on top. Wings were soggy, not crispy and they just dumped somebbq sauce on top instead of tossing them. Just gross.

Solid Neapolitan pizza a drink and soda is 10 dollars. I heard the cheese steak is awesome. I had the cannoli it was good. Shell was crisp, good amount of cream. Friendly guy behind the counter.
