Bidra med feedbackMenu del dia only available so no vegetarian option at all. Staff attitude was appalling. Food was average at best. Definitely not on my list of places to go back to.
We stopped here during our road trip. The place is ok. It's in a gas station, but it is a proper restaurant, not the typical gas station cafeteria. The food was quite nice and we didn't have to wait much. I didn't like that one of the waiters wasn't wearing his mask. I would repeat if the waiters obey the Covid-19 rules.
This is an excellent location for services located off the Highway from Granada to Motril at junction 137 on the west side or the Motorway. Lomo Del Valle Restaurant is part of an intergral Repsol Garage, make sure you go to the right one as there is another garage on the other side of the Highway. The cafe Bar is of a good standard and we have eaten there several times. Food is always freshly prepared and of a good standard, reasonable price and obviously very popular. Please see photographs attached. The Restaurant opens at lunchtime and we have not eaten the 'Menu del Dia ' but understand it is very good. The price for this is 14 euros. Ideal stop for 'r and r ' if you are traveling on the Highway, alternatively good if you are staying in the locality as we are. Thanks for reading hope this guide is helpful, if so please can you tick the box as I welcome the feedback. Thank you.
This petrol service station is just off the A44 Motril to Granada autovia at exit 153, Durcal and offers a cafe and a restaurant. open at 5.00 am every day it's great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. In the cafe side for breakfast or lunch you can choose from a large selection of toasted ciabatta bread with butter and jam or tomato, to bacon and egg or sausage sandwiches or tapas all a huge size, also the coffee is excellent. The restaurant side is open from 1.30pm and offers a very good selection for lunch or dinner with a menu del dia at lunch time,3 courses plus bread and a drink for 9.00€. Alternatively if you buy an alcoholic drink in the cafe side you will get a tapa each time, the difference here is the size, after living in Spain for 20 years, I have never been given free tapàs with a drink that have been so large. Lunch for us was 3 drinks each of beer and a wine for 9.60€ and we were so full we couldn't eat anymore. So there is such a thing as a free lunch. This place is of course very popular with the locals and lorry drivers, but don't let this put you off, well worth a visit, once you've been you will go back again
