The sort of classy but unfussy restaurant France does better than anyone else. Friendly, efficient service and excellent simple food at bargain prices (not much more than a fast food chain or a UK pub. And on a very hot day, it was also a beautifully cool sanctuary. So we came back a week later and it was just as good.
