Serious Texas Bbq North Durango, Co.

After traveling to the southern USA and with amazing grill I was surprised to find this place in Durango. Very pleasantly surprised!!! We had the brisket, taters and macaroni and cheese... It was all really good... and they have sweet tea. I'm glad we stopped here for lunch. Very recommended Serious Texas BBQ. You are also a dog friendly, which is a big plus.

This Barbecue is SERIOUSLY DELICIOUS! When I walked in, there was a long line and after tasting their barbecue, I understand why! Tender and tasty, every bite was amazing. And the sweet tea brought back memories from Louisiana! If you ever visit Durango, visit this restaurant! You won't regret it!

Being from Kansas, where we have some really excellent BBQ, I wanted to check this place out while we were in town, just to see what Colorado has. It was actually pretty darn good! The ribs were a little dry, but I put some of their sauce on them, and they were delicious! My husband got the tater and the nachos, and those were even better. Absolutely worth the price! The service was excellent, too!

They lay out was pretty cool. Walk in order at window and they ring you up and give you your food right then. Lots of room inside and outside to sit. I got the ribs and a baked potatoe not loaded) but the loaded ones looked great and a full on meal by itself. They can load your potatoes with any kind of meet. The people working there were soooo nice plus the were fun to joke around with. Everyone was laid back and friendly. I would go back for bbq again for sure.

Because of the hotel we stayed at, we had a coupon for a free drink. Made use of it. The brisket I got was freaking delicious. I also love their brand of root beer but I’m sure I’ll never be able to find it again. On a side note someone told us to avoid the ribs hard core because they were down right disgusting. I took that into account and avoided them. My mother in law got a pulled pork sandwich. She said the slaw was gross. Her mother, my grand mother in law, got some kind of cheesy potato batch that she seemed to enjoy. The inside is cute.
