I stay at the Dunsmuir Lodge every time I travel to Mt. Shasta or Dunsmuir. The Lodge is tucked away alongside the shady road with the esthetics of nature's best surrounding the Lodge. Plants are to the left and right of you and fruit trees grow aligned on the south forty where Deer come at night for your viewing. Beautiful handmade Cedar beds give you a place to hang your hat at the end of the day and all is quiet for a good rest before you head out again with a smile. Just the thought of being there adds to the joy of the overall trip, as I am truly looking forward to my next stay. Eric is the owner who is one great guy, and lives on the property to make sure your stay is always at its finest . So enjoy the Day.Nearby activities: A great hub where you can reach out to all the best places in a short drive. The Best of the Best. And the owner Eric is one amazing guy. God bless you All.
It's beautiful on the outside I ride by and see well manicured yard,
Terrible parking..And so much dust..But the service was fantastic. A very friendly environment. Loved it.
The room prices were upped $40.00 for the July 4th holiday. So for a final bill of $182.40 for 1 night, this is what I got. A room with 2 double beds, it WAS clean, but very dingy run down. No microwave, no sink drain plug, radio broken, live dead looking plants, windows needed cleaning, gray towels, white sheets were a dingy gray (Need a good bleach), the bedspreads shams weren't clean, the plastic mattress cover was noisy hot, no kleenex in the rooms, parking lot was dirty, staff was friendly accommodating. Definitely overpriced for what you got!!! I won't stay there again!
