Bidra med feedbackJumped from the united kingdom to midday and tried it here. both had a menu. 3 very big courses plus drinks and coffee for about 60 euro. place about 1 hour of families, couples, youth and older. all enjoy eating. beautiful atmosphere and not rushed. super-smiles and many of them. a very good part of the scallops would recommend.
So...the other one served food uncooked. But at least with a smile. HERE.. Rude staff. Nil service ethic we were an onconvenience. Drink order wrong. Food order wrong. When pointed out we had someone else's order initially argued with us. Then took plate away. Gave...it to the other people. No explanation of what they were going to do for us where 3 of 4 now had their meal. Ten minutes later brought actual order. No apology. No check back. Salmon lasagne. Tinned salmon??? Not great to say the least. So.. Services terrible, food hit and miss. Advice. Try next door. Total bunch of amateurs.
My wife and I walked along the boardwalk, looking at several menus, finally deciding on Le Volcano for lunch. Perusing the menu inside, my wife decided on the pot o mussels, seeing an older lady devouring them two tables over. I ordered the fettuccine de...mare. I would recommend both plates, but my wife especially enjoyed the mussels! My pasta dish was very flavorful, with ample seafood. Looking around at other plates, I remember thinking everything looked appetizing. And we had very good service (reading other posts, I was surprised to read the service was not so good). Overall, I would return, but there are several options to choose from on the boardwalk! We enjoyed this one.
Our waiter was from Tenerifé and my Spanish is better than my French so that was entertaining. Moules were the best on the promenade as were the pizzas. The place gets a bit chaotic late on as feeding people is more important than washing plates.
My partner and I visited here on 27/8/22 and had the worst experience ever. I ordered a bolognese and he ordered a carbonara. they brought my pasta, which was not even nice and for him brought out a salmon pasta, which my partner did not. we told them that and they brought it back to the kitchen. they then brought him out a “carbonara” about ten minutes later, which was still had salmon in the it. the salmon was under the pasta, probably on the same plate. we also asked if they could put chickens into the carbonara they said would not be possible. Why not? Probably because they cook their pasta coarsely. in the meantime, I've eaten without him. very poor service. he doesn't eat fish. we then had enough and decided that we would not want to eat their food anymore, because we could not trust that what they said would serve them was actually on our teller. we explained this to them and they tried to call the police on us and insist that we should pay. we said we would call the police, as such incidents were deadly, where allergic were involved, and at this point they got the manager who could speak English. we showed her the image of the salmon in the food and she agreed to dispense with food bills, but to pay for the drinks. 6 € water, totally demolished. also big wine. see photo for the salmon in the “Kokosara”.
