Bidra med feedbackEating is well created and presented. layout of the dining areas and outdoor areas well thought out and reasonable. on a sunny day they eat outside. my only criticism is that if they have a polite happy person who really is happy that they have made the choice to visit the bakery, they will be happy. I have seen some how they look like they might ask too much. I showed my wife what I had written in this review, and she only knew that I was referring to the old bakery dark. the coffee is good and the water they should help themselves.
Good option for breakfast or lunch. Friendly service and small though carefully made bakery selection. My pea and ham soup was warm and comforting (though a little under seasoned) accompanied with a mountain of sourdough. Partner had a beef and dark ale pie which although tasty needed a little more gravy. You can also stay here overnight in the lovely cottage right next door excellent value.
Fabulous place for breakfast in Dunkeld. For a town with nothing to see or do, this bakery, along with Wickens at the Royal Mail, are the clear highlights. The service here was great, the food was cooked with a lot of love and care and very well presented. The bread is amazing! I went to the Parker Street Project for breakfast on my first morning in Dunkeld and that was a terrible experience and a complete rip off, so went to the bakery on the second morning and had a wonderful experience and it was half the price.
Sensational little bakery cafe. Although the service is a little on the slower side, the overall experience is well and truly worth it. Coffees good. Breakfasts sensational.
Pretty happy with the food here. Had some pies and pasties on the way back to Melbourne. Good pies without being a show stopper. Not sure I’d stop again but it was pleasant.
