The Shamrock - Dungarvan

Really impressed with the Shamrock Restaurant. The chicken bacon pasta dish was fabulous the only fault I could possibly find was that the portion was too big! Lemon drizzle cake had a lovely zing to it while Brianna said the chocolate gateaux with strawberries looked too nice to eat. It tasted fantastic by the way. Excellent cappuccino as well. The meal was very good value and the menu quite varied. The best thing about the Shamrock Restaurant though has to be the staff knowledgeable, efficient and above all very friendly. Hadn't been in Dungarvan in years today's experience would definitely bring me back. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic gem in the centre of Dungarvan. Excellent service and food was scrumcious. Made us really welcome and played special attention to our dog Wispa. Well done Shamrock Resturant and wish you all the best for the future

Popped in a few weeks ago for a late afternoon sandwich. Staff were lovely, couldn't do enough for me, asked for a coffee, which was served in a proper china cup, with a matching saucer, top up available, if required. The sandwich was made freshly, served with some tortilla chips on the side, couldn't fault it. Whilst I didn't indulge, the cakes were obviously home made and looked absolutely lush, would recommend a visit, even if it's only for a coffee in a nice cup

Great family restaurant very friendly staff and great selection of dishes. Make sure to leave room for desert, great selection. My favourite is apple sponge with custard yummy

Just had dinner here tonight with my family. Food was very nice an value for money. Staff are lovely. We will deffo b bak again
