Seikaku Sushi Steak - Dunedin

Tried to come here on multiple separate occasions and they were closed when their hours say open.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this place. I wasn't sure about it based on its outward appearance, but staff was so friendly and welcoming! They took special care to make my three-year old feel really special and played dinosaurs with him. We especially liked our server, Chelsea. The rest of the staff were all very attentive and the service was top notch. We loved the food, too! They have some really unique and delicious sushi offerings. I've been searching for a GREAT sushi experience since moving to the Dunedin area and this one is definitely on the top of our list! Thanks for an awesome experience and we'll be coming back again real soon!

Best sushi place around! We moved from Dunedin about 30-45 minutes away and still make the drive to eat Jose’s sushi. Highly recommend to all!!

We love this place, small, cozy and nice. Staff is very polite and friendly. Sushi is excellent and very fresh. We would highly recommend this place to family or friends or anyone looking for good sushi.

Hubby calls this a hidden gem! Don't let the location fool you the space was comfortable, service was great, sushi yummy and fast... and they had Kirin on tap. Woah!! We started with gyozo yum! Then we had a couple of their chef special raw rolls and a shrimp tempura roll. All really good. I also had the wasabi tuna on seaweed and this plate was HUGE. I could have just eaten that. Really like this little place give it a shot, folks!!
