Portobello Bistro - Dunedin

Nice place. They say there is a good food... we don't know, because they don't have enough stuff in the kitchen and we would have to wait 2 hours or more...

Really pleasant surprise. Fantastic salt and pepper squid and fries. Stunning NZ bay and mountain views. Old school decor is the only thing that I wasn’t into.

Really great experience here. Went for lunch on a Friday, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was tasty and fresh. We had the blue cod a chicken pizza with cream cheese and apricot. Both were delicious. Kids also really enjoyed, good options for them as well as plenty to entertain them (few board games, colouring, outdoor kitchen) Must say the lady working there was really lovely and made our experience that much better just by being kind

Great little pub for a bit of lunch in the weekend ....menu was varied and had choices to even suit the fussy eater staff were friendly too .....had the chicken pizza brie mozzarella cheese and cranberries....could have done with more chicken and even cheese topping .....but crust was perfect ....overall I would be happy to order again

Delicious food and beautiful scenery. The fish tasted amazing and the salad was so fresh!
