Found this place by accident, and have to say that the food was exceptional. Don't judge this based on the outside. Small cafe with great food, cooked with the love and attention you would get at home. Amazing

Friendly staff and great food. Extensive menu with specials. Soup and sandwich with fresh ingredients. Food at all the tables looked good. Does takeaways also.

By far the best place for Sunday Lunch in Newton Stewart, or any day of the week. Jill the owner, is a fantastic cook, and you won't be disappointed, the meals are full of flavour.

Would reccomend a visit, food is top notch and really good value. Service was quick efficient and nothing was too much bother

We returned to this quaint little lunch spot today. Second visit was just as good as the first. Their portion sizes were very generous and they were able to retain the quality of their home cooked meals. Aside from the chips which weren’t to my liking (prefer home cooked, hand cut chips) the fish was amazing and I enjoyed a well made coffee. Their chicken salad was really nice, well presented and tasty. Prices should be higher for what they’re serving and the staff are lovely. I’d return again when I’m in the area and maybe even reserve a table beforehand to make sure I don’t miss out.
