Swan Chinese Restaurant - Dulwich Hill

Every dish we ordered were all equally as pleasing as each other. There was not one dish that our group did not like. Chicken Satay, Mongolian Lamb, Honey King Prawns, the Burning Iron Sizzling Beef (our waitress' suggestion) and fried rice were gobbled up with much enthusiasm. I wouldn't order the sesame prawn toast again....a bit too much like a deep fried slab of bread overdosed in oil. The interior has a satisfying level of suburban kitsch and thankfully muted lighting. I would have given this review an Excellent rating but they did not have any duck dishes available, and limited drinks range (no juice for the kids). My new "go-to" suburban Chinese :)

Food was very tasty and light and restaurant atmosphere was friendly. Take away food is also good and nicely prepared☺

Got hungry when drove around so found a car park and stepped in. First thought looked like Vietnamese but they said Chinese restaurant give a go then. Ordered lunch special $8.5 Mongolian beef with rice. Beef is tender and testy. Value for money.

After reading numerous positive reviews, I was eager to give this place a try! I visited with a friend during the week and thankfully, the wait was not too long.

I rate average/mediocre restaurants with 3 stars, ones that I wouldn't return to unless there was a special reason.
