Bidra med feedbackAfter a walk down to the lake and then park, I had a beautiful disc berne and ginger cake and a latte. I felt it was a good value for money and a great cake. the prices were similar to any other caffe in wiveliscombe, wellington and taunton.
The restaurant offers a beautiful view in a peaceful location by a reservoir. The food was delicious and presented well. They are also dog-friendly, which is a nice touch. Overall, the service was reasonably good, but clearer communication regarding orders and service would enhance the experience. That’s the only area for improvement.
The restaurant recently came under new management, and we had the pleasure of meeting Cheryl, a lovely lady who made our experience even better. The food was truly amazing—I was so caught up in enjoying it that I forgot to take any photos, but I'll definitely remember to do so on my next visit! We tried the cheese with red wobble chutney and a slice of carrot cake, both of which I highly recommend. Currently, they are open from Wednesday to Sunday for the next two weeks, and then in the summer, they'll be open every day of the week. The menu offers a great selection that caters to the whole family, making it a perfect family cafe where everyone is welcome, including dogs. They even provide cookies and water for furry friends!
This is a fantastic café situated in a lovely location. The staff is remarkably helpful and friendly. The meal portions are generous, and the coffee is quite good. They are also now dog-friendly indoors, which is a wonderful bonus!
