Carmen's Bar Restaurant - Duluth

Man and I live a few cities away where we normal. when we walked in jay cooke, we decided to see places to eat near. found this place. I just have to say that we will be back! eating was delicious, portings are amazing; I felt like my pasta was an endless bowl. price for portions etc. each cent value, plus service was nice and comfortable. 10/10 recommended.

A small story of the staff at Carmen's...my mother brother, Uncle Buster, was lunch together with his class (class from 1958). My mother is a little older, but loves to meet with her little brother. A wonderful lunch was from everyone, and our server was so fast and organized with a number of hearing aids wearing, **** Mary drinking seniors! After we returned home, my mother had a $100 bill she gave me to buy flowers with the next day. She checked her bags, retraced her steps, no $100 bill. Well, in 87 years you start thinking that our thoughts are playing tricks on us. I got my mom back to find the $100 bill. I called Carmen and asked if someone had turned in a $100 bill. The bartender said 'Yes'! Your daughter, our server, found it on the floor in the room where the class of 1958 had lunch! Like WONDERFUL! The spirit of my mother was simple and the honesty of our server is a faith that is restored in humanity! Thank you. And thank you to your parents for raising a good person! About the $100 bill... my mother, Marge and Uncle Buster's little sister died. The $100 Schema went towards flowers for each family member at Auntie Betsy's service the next day. Mom wanted each person to hold a rose (Auntie Betsy's favorite flower, and the name of her mother was Roseanna) during their service. Everyone had a red rose. The service was nice. Family connections were reconnected. Thanks Carmen 's and thanks Rose Man!

Great atmosphere. attentive staff. Excellent menu and specialties. Had the Jake Manwich with onion rings – Killer. IPA on ****. Local hangout. $6 bones for Bourbon wings, please!

Great little bar to see a game or just hang around with friends. the service was phenomenal and prices appropriate. I would recommend the ribs, I got the whole rule that made me laugh when it arrived. Probably all 4 types had fed with an order. I divided 3 bones and ate the rest of 1/2 rack. the other half went to house. beautiful terrace and lots of space inside. we will definitely return.

Like most sports bars as far as the interior. The food was prepared quickly and was very tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will go back when we're up that way.
