The Boar's Nest - Duke

Great place for the area. Good cut of steak and decent sides. There was one waitress for the entire restaurant but she did great and was running her butt off! Kudos.. to a good family steakhouse that gives a good change of pace to the normal hurry in and hurry out type of dinner. Only 15 minutes from Altus!

We had 4 in our party. We received really prompt services. The platters of food are huge so come with an appetite or have a box to go. One of the party had a catfish plate. I had brisket nachos. They were delicious. We will come back definitely when we cross the red river. Possible visitors need to take note they are closed for part of the week. They do sell beer there. It is very clean. We were observing t HCC employees cleaning windows before they opened up.

Absolutely the best steaks within 100 miles! Puts other joints to shame!

Worst customer service by not the wait staff but the owner. My order was messed up and not only would he not replace it but wouldn't offer a refund. He was very rude and disrespectful. I am a long time customer but because of the way I was treated by the owner I will never eat there again.
