Mezzomar Seehaus - Duisburg

It was great, eating was fantastic, very cozy atmosphere, the staff really friendly and I really enjoyed my dinner.

On the positive side: beautiful modern restaurant in best location. on the negative side: where to start. a) several huge flat-screen TVs with music videos that run are not what they want for a nice dining room experience, especially when different music that doesn't...surpasses the music videos on the loudspeaker system. b) confusing (at least) menu a big choice, but with a la carte, specials and daily specials (and some of them with the same name) even the waiter confused I ordered the surf and lawn and got the special surf and turf salad. c) overtepriced food is ok (ish), but with so much choice very little attention is given to the detail. that is good, but for this price class they expect more. back to the signboard.

On the negative side: where to start.... a multiple huge flat screen TVs with music videos running are not what you want for a nice dining experience especially when DIFFERENT music that does not...match the music videos is blaring on the speaker system... b confusing to say the least menu a huge choice but with a la carte, Specials and daily specials and some of them having same name even the waiters get confused I ordered the surf and turf special and got the special Surf and Turf salad..... c overpriced food is OK ish but with so much choice very little attention is given to detail. Which is fine but for this price range you expect more... Back to the drawing board for them

The 3 stars gets the restaurant only due to its location. here you can already enjoy the evening on the terrace.We had meat, noodles and pizza. pizza was not cherry. noodles were in order. fleisch portion rather small.Services were there many. although they were friendly, but unfortunately rarely at the table.
