Bidra med feedbackWhat a treasure, this place! Old artist atmosphere but not stuffy with a great mixed clientele. One of the best quiche Lorraine I ever had. Why did I not go there before? It is in a quieter beautiful Southern corner of the Altstadt. Don’t give...away this secret to anyone
I suggest skipping this restaurant. Service was terrible. Very little to offer in terms of service or selections. Not a fan. Ended up with 2 beers and no food after a long hiatus.
Really terrible service. Took more than 20 minutes to get anyone to even ask if I wanted anything in a fairly empty space. As I was getting up to leave a server finally decided to turn his head to me. Ordered two spreads that were...clearly premade. Took 25 more minutes until I asked another person where my food was. It was sitting there the entire time. Then I asked for the check and was told it’s cash only. Fine, tried to give the guy the correct change but he couldn’t even count what it was and there were only two bills of 20 and 10 Euros. Intelligence is not one their strong suits. Original server never showed up again, no napkins were offered, no apologies. Not sure where they hire these people but please avoid stopping by. It was a twilight zone experience.
I really like this bistro. It hasn’t changed for years. Great atmosphere inside with retro posters on the walls, appealing wine card, nice terrace outside. All this mid in Duesseldorf, in one of its oldest streets.. Always a pleasure to be there.
Stopped in after a red eye flight and train trip and were so happy to have a wonderful meal! It’s tucked away in a cute corner and the staff was super nice a tad slow but that may be the German way I’m...only here 18hrs. I ordered the eggs with mushrooms and scallions and my bro had bratwurst and a hard boiled egg. The brats came in a broth which was new but he liked it all the same. They make a Special bread of the day awesome with butter or some of the mustard from the sausage plate. Coffee was nice and strong exactly what we needed. Seemed popular with the locals.
