Bidra med feedbackAt a walk through the old town are my wife and I am on the shennong teelounge am burgplatz. we were already inside (pictures can be seen here: [here link] under the zig different tee and other types of drinks we decided to use the bubbled tea. is available in various flavors and is served as a cold drink. the glue (for those who do not yet know: in the drink are small jelly-like balls (bubbles filled with liquids in two different aromes. the taste variants are developed when the balls are torn apart. the whole thing is sucked up with large drinking straws. but carefully practice first, otherwise one or the other ball lands faster in the neck than one love; the whole atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant. the only thing I have to complain is that we had to wait a long time until someone can look around us, for example, to ask or throw more, even though we were alone in the common. the personal was only nobody to see. but since they can understand, that's not a problem.
Plenty of tea options to pick from, delicious chai latte if you like that, and good cake. Plus the server was SUPER friendly and spent time explaining the different tea options to my friend even though he doesn't speak any German.
Probably the only place in the Altstadt who do a green tea by the book, nice and bitter. The place is beautifully decorated with tea-making paraphenalia, oriental art, and displays of all the tea they have on sale. The only thing German about it would be the delicious Kuche : Service friendly, a nice stop for something a bit different.
Hi, like with its smaller 'sister lounge ' on Muensterstr., this is something new and different to visit a real treat for the aesthetic spirit and the traveling soul. Whether you love tea or want to find out more about it, if you enjoy a cultured atmosphere where the owners have payed careful aesthetic attention to every detail in design and decoration, if you want to enjoy an excellent small meal with your tea, be it the incredible chocolate tart or one of the delicious soups or wraps this is for people who are well traveled and enjoy exploring more, in the world or in their minds. At your table, the highly attentive and knowledgeable staff will bring the world of tea to you, carefully preparing the tea ceremony. They 'll be happy to tell you about varieties, history, origin of the tea you have chosen, and they 'll be happy to answer all your questions. The music is well chosen and soothing; classical or jazz. And you 'll always find a little gem to buy and take home with you, from a special tea or a small bag of bamboo coated nuts all the way to a unique tea dish for your own tea ceremony at home. Take your time to calm down and enjoy !
