Bidra med feedbackA perfectly prepared steak isn't necessarily the most difficult thing to prepare, but still seems elusive in many restaurants. I ordered a medium-rare rump steak with fries at El Rancho, and was not disappointed. The steak was so tender it was like cutting through butter, and perfectly seasoned. The one disappointment were the fries, which were like something from the frozen foods section at the grocery store. I had hoped, and somewhat expected, thick homemade fries, but no such luck. But between a well-stocked salad-bar, fresh bread served before food, and efficient staff, a visit to El Rancho should please most steak lovers.
Lot of different meats, really good meats. You can choose also side dishes if you dont want to rise/potatoes. Very good value for money and they accept all european cards (like Mastercard, debit, visa). They speak really good english also. Terrace is so nice in the summertime.
We were in Cologne (from the UK) and some German friends took us here for lunch. It's very cosy inside and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Service was excellent but the highlight was our steaks, 200g of prime fillet so delicious and tender and cooked to perfection. It's a real shame we cannot get Argentinian steak in the UK as it really is the best.Try some and you won't be disappointed.
Fantastic succulent Sirloin Steak with fiery Peppercorn Sauce MMMMMMMMMMM with lovely crispy thick cut chips, grilled tomato sautéed mushrooms and a salad garnish.
Very nice steakes in different dimensions on size are avasilable and all in good taste. The family owned restaurant get´s their meat from Argentina imported, so it migth be good quality but also the preparaten of the steak itself makes the tast somethimes unbelievable.Service is helfull and you can get also an english menu cart - which is not very often to find!Have been there in the past weeks often as of business trip with japanese people. Even offering something else they always took steak in diverent preparation and they loved them. No need for long waiting and you can choose your side dishes as you like and or you can rely on the expertise of waiter, you will not get dissapointed. Only disadvantage is the parking palce which is not indicated and by bad weather you have to walk 3 minutes - but this is the only "bad thing" which might be for some meateater a negative point. Prices are for a non star restaurant little bit high, but it is worth to pay it anyhow. Just taste it by yourself and enjoy with a ;-)
