Lifesaving Station - Duck

Once seated it took 30 minutes to receive waters and order our food. Restaurant was never even half full but the wait staff and kitchen were constantly overwhelmed. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating... it just took 3x longer to execute any request. Heard every table around us experiencing the same thing

The menu shown online was not reflected by the choices offered in person. The food was simply not good. Especially at that price point. The building had a lovely ambiance but it wasn't enough to make up for what the food did not deliver.

Delicious scallops. Able to select 2 sides. Yummy cheese burger with fries. Tasty strawberry crisp/cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Excellent wait staff-very attentive and very familiar with menu and choices. Will go there again when in Duck, NC!!

Hostess lovely, waiter attentive and kind, but food very disappointing salad very small with undercooked shrimp yet expensive pasta dish very skimpy on sausages, crab dip app. too small for 3 I think it must be because we are here off season probably better when more customers :

The Lifesaving Station is a very nice place to enjoy a meal while staying close to the resort. The staff was nice, it was a little bit of a wait but understandable, was served quickly and the server was very nice and helpful.
