Bidra med feedbackThis place is a wonderful concept! My group completed the Alice in Wonderland escape room. We completed it in about 55 minutes, asking for a handful of hints along the way. Prepare to be challenged! Other than the escape rooms, The Clockwork Door is a time house where people can congregate and pay for their time spent there by the minute. Everything is included- board games, snacks, and coffee/tea. Post-escape room, the staff grants your group free unlimited access to the leisure area. My group enjoyed a game of Scrabble and cookies after our escape room experience. This seems like a great alternative to the drinking culture in a Dublin, or for folks too young to drink. I highly recommend this experience for visitors and locals alike.
My friends and I went here today to do an escape room and it was SO much fun!!! We picked the Alice in Wonderland themed room (the other one was the Witch House). The Wonderland room was so fun and took us about 50 minutes to complete! Don't be discouraged if you don't get too far in the first half hour because we really pulled it together in the last 20 minutes. The service was also great; the people were super sweet!! It was International Women's Day so my friends and I were given roses on our way out! Highly recommend this place if you have some time in Dublin!
Highly recommended! This is a wonderfully versatile space with helpful staff. I've gone here in the middle of the day to work for hours on end in the study room. Other times I'd drop in between meetings in the city center and chill in the common room. I attended a Dublin Story Time event here and had a lot of fun! Also a great place if you're looking to organize an event. All the espresso and biscuits you could need are in the kitchen.
So I went here on a school trip and we were waiting so we decided to walk in and we were very pleasantly surprised. The place made us feel at home with how cool it was. They had everything. We played an escape room and they were very helpful and cleverly built. But if you're not in the mood for one there is always something to do. They have games, instruments and food. Would highly recommend it if you're looking to kill an afternoon!
My friends and I were recently in Ireland for a travel course with our school. We spent a couple of extra days in Dublin, and that's when we found The Clockwork Door. It's such a cool little place, and the staff members are the nicest people. It was a cozy, comfy place to hang out for a few hours while we waited to check into our hotel, but honestly one of my friends wanted to come back every day. Everything anyone could ever want was inside, food, games, music, everything. We even played their escape room which was honestly top notch and probably one of the most fun I have ever played. If I'm ever back in Dublin I will be stopping in for some tea and a sit.
