Vanilla Pod’s breakfast is the deadliest of them all. It’s so lovely that you will fall in-love with it and no other breakfast will have your heart. Whenever you walk in, they’re always immediately ready to greet you and prepare a table for you. Everyone knows that when you go eat at a restaurant or a coffee shop, you expect that you’re going to get better food than what you can cook at home.

Have been going here for years, love this place. It's always packed too but the service and food is superb! My go to is the breakfast potatoe salad which is divine, comes with a poached egg, black puddings, roasted red peppers, parmasan, baby leaves and potatoes! U can't go wrong! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked divine. My friends got the benedict and truffle mushrooms, both were delicious. The treats and coffee is also really good!

Gorgeous restaurant that also caters for gluten free . This little gem of a place was recommended to me by the beautician next door Brown Cow and OMG !!! I went for brunch and the hype about their Eggs Benedict did not disappoint. There was a long que out the door as it was lunchtime on a Saturday and the staff were quick to welcome everyone and hand out menus while waiting to be seated. Highly recommend and will defiantly be back!!!

First time #thevanillapodeatery on Saturday and I will most definitely will be back. Myself sister were recommend to check it out for brunch. We both had eggs benedict which I highly recommend. No problem getting gluten free bread spelt bread instead of muffin and I asked for no fat crispy bacon this not a problem. It was both our first time having eggs benedict and we will be getting again. We both got the daily cleanser juice which was orange, carrot ginger Devine. Lovely atmosphere staff really lovely and efficient food so fresh can't wait to go again. Also we got a takeaway of coffee walnut cake tea cake #omg so #yummy

A quirky little eatery, hidden amongst a busy retail park in Carrickmines. It's quite the norm for a queue to form outside the door for this place at lunchtime every day, but you're never waiting long. You can choose from the Vanilla Pod Eatery or the Vanilla Pod Kitchen, two different locations in one, each serving the other but both have different atmosphere's. <br/ Vanilla Pod Kitchen has a continental feel, full view of the chef and his woodfired oven making the most delicious pizza's with every topping imaginable, everything is so fresh and tasty. Two of my recommended dishes are the Meatball sandwich, small little meatballs, bathed in marinara sauce and tucked up inside a ciabatta roll, absolutely divine and you don't need anything else with it, it'll definitely satiffy your hunger. The other dish, being the Minestrone soup, the only downside is that it sometimes lacks flavouring and I've never had any pasta or even orzo in mine but it's hearty and warming on a winters day and comes with delcious spelt bread.<br/ <br/ The Eatery is where all the action is, the rumble of the barista machine, the bustle of the staff, the kitchen shouting for service....and the faces of people enjoying exceptionally gorgeous food! You can get pretty much every requirement seen to, here, be it vegetarian, paleo, vegan or even gluten free! Each day at 9, they open to delicious bruch, Egg's Benedict, Fluffy Pancakes and bacon, granola, fresh veg juices, they have it all! If you're much more of a brunch person, not to worry, there's a whole host of gorgeousness from superfood salads to burgers to their daily sandwich and fries special which is definitely recommended! My  top recommendation is the Pod's Chicken salad, a healthy chicken salad with green beans, buffalo mozzarella, toasted pumpkin seeds, lemon oil...it's unbeatable! Everything is freshly made, even the ham sandwiches have fresh carved roast ham, same with the poultry.. top notch! Be sure to check out their baked goods display too, everything is made on site from pastries to home made bounty bars and teacakes-even French Macarons!<br/ <br/ I highly recommend this Vanilla Pod Eatery, child friendly (from what I've seen , value for money, super friendly staff.<br/ <br/ I've always had take away's at Vanilla Pod too on my lunch break, hence lots of my photo's are in take away containers :
