Pickle - Dublin

Food is always lovely at Pickle. Went to celebrate my mums birthday and as soon as we entered we were promptly told we can’t cut the cake in there it is their policy which is apparently on their website. I was on their website twice last week (to increase my party booking size) and did not see this anywhere on the reservation page and/or mentioned in the confirmation/reminder emails. They really should make it more clear/ apparent. The celebratory evening was further dampened with the rude attitude in which this was conveyed. My mums birthday went by without a cake cutting as we had nowhere to do this with it raining outside… I’ve been here several times earlier but never really been treated this way. The restaurant charges a 25 euro deposit/ person worthy as their food is good.. but for the first time, I left pickle today feeling quite unwanted and insulted. The manager would do well to remember that experiences last much longer in memory than policies…will definitely not go here for special ocassions lest you want it ruined.

Were here yesterday for the first time after a few months. The food was fantastic. I don’t know how they knew what level of spice we’d like but they got it perfectly right. This was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had we will be back.

A SMALL PLACE FOR AROUND 50 PEOPLE, BUT THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC. MUST VISIT. BUT YOU HAVE TO TAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO DINE THERE. MOST OF THE TIMES IT IS BOOKED SIX MONTHS IN ADVANCE. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT ? BUT WORTH GOING THERE.

Best Indian in Dublin by a country mile. Not cheap but worth it. Actually the mid week deal is good value as you get a lot. Recommended.

Food here is amazing. It's a bit pricey though for lunch.
