Great restaurant in the heart of Tallaght. It's been here many years and has a good reputation with locals. Food is reliably good and staff and welcoming and friendly. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Title: A Mixed Bag of Flavors at Kundan's Tandoori, Tallaght. My recent experience at Kundan's Tandoori in Tallaght was a rollercoaster of flavors and emotions. With a menu boasting a wide range of Indian dishes, I had high hopes for a memorable meal. Here's my take on the dishes I tried: 1.Prawns Madras: The Prawns Madras was a delightful surprise. The bold and spicy flavors of the curry were well-balanced, and the prawns were cooked to perfection. It had the right amount of heat and tanginess, making it a standout dish. 2.Chicken Jeera: Unfortunately, the Chicken Jeera didn't live up to expectations. While the chicken was incredibly tender, the overall dish lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. It felt somewhat lackluster and underseasoned. 3.Chicken Korma The Chicken Korma offered a unique twist with its subtle sweetness. It was enjoyable, but the sweetness might not be to everyone's liking. The chicken remained tender, which was a plus. 4.Lamb Biryani: The Lamb Biryani was a major letdown. Instead of the aromatic and flavorful biryani I anticipated, it resembled more of a lamb curry mixed with vegetables and rice. The absence of the traditional biryani spices and layering was disappointing. This dish is best avoided if you're seeking an authentic biryani experience. Price Discrepancy: One significant drawback I noticed was the noticeable price difference between takeaway and dine-in orders, averaging about €3 more for dine-in. This price inconsistency was rather disappointing, and it didn't feel justified based on the overall dining experience. In summary, Kundan's Tandoori in Tallaght offers a mixed bag of flavors. While their spicy curries like the Prawns Madras can hit the mark, the inconsistency in taste and the disappointing Lamb Biryani make it a hit-or-miss dining destination. The price difference for dine-in might deter some, so if you're looking for value, takeaway might be the better choice. Ultimately, it's a place where you can find good dishes, but you'll need to choose wisely from the menu. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Food was tasty but to be fair we were there at the busiest time on Saturday, so the service was slow. Not much atmosphere but lovely rice etc Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
