My mate tried to do a take on the pollo Romana he wants to know if this is up to scratch. Said the chicken is cooked to perfection can you give him any tips?

Ordered online,12” pizza was on its side. Nothing on one side and everything on the other side. Almost upside down. Missing 2 toppings. Oil pouring out of the box. When I contacted the restaurant they were willing to send a fresh pizza out to me but wanted the fee for the two missing toppings along with the original pizza returned. The lady on the phone was very polite, but no such mention of a refund, only exchanging the original pizza. That’s me finished with Fabio’s. Avoid.

This is my ultimate Italian comfort food choice . No other Italian comes even close and when I say that I’m including restaurants . You love garlic bread?, try the cheesy one . It’s perfection. Like your chicken give the Milanese a chance, beautiful breaded chicken with fresh pasta from the heavens . As for the carbonara with it’s beautiful chunks of ham you will want more and then some . And that’s before I get to the pizzas,a personal favorite is extra cheese with pepperoni and salami . Oh and don’t skimp on the desserts, they got that covered on all fronts . Try the ice cream lots of flavors and they are scrumptious or give those profiteroles a try they melt in the mouth . Yes I’ve worked my way through the menu . It’s like going out to a restaurant except you get that quality right to your door.

I am writing this review reluctantly and I feel it needs to be done. I would have used Fabios a fair bit possibly twice a month or more depending. So today 4th Dec 2018 I ordered food at 6.03pm and was told the normal 40-50 mins which is grand cause that's the way. An hour and half later and warm, not hot food arrives. So ring back and get the girl answering.the phone and really she doesn't want to deal and obviously hasn't been told what to do in this case. Asked to speak to supervisor and explained what happened, very apologetic and I was asked.what I wanted to do... eh that's not up to me. So put on hold so could ring The Boss..... €20 credit. Considering every order I get is at least €35 that's a real slap in the face. It will be at least 6 months or more before I consider using fabios again=€420. Just be careful folks about ordering here, I'd give it a miss till they realise they need to start taking care of customers.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. From the friendly service to the incredible food. I order from here quite frequently and I’m never disappointed. The Pollo Origano with mash and veg is my standard, but both myself and friends have ordered across the menu and it’s always delicious and of excellent quality. You may have to wait a bit on the weekend, but well worth it, and speaks to the standard that it’s out the door busy.
