Eatokyo - Dublin

This is a marvellous restaurant that I really recommend. Very nicely located (just meters from The Spire itself on O 'Connell Street, and extremely handy for a pre-theatre meal if you 're attending The Abbey Theatre, for example the dining room is really cozy, inviting and comfortable. The food is absolutely marvellous (I had a superb skewerd chicken starter and an amazingly well-served fried duck dish that was sensational , and the house wine (a beautiful full-bodied South-African merlot was smashing! As happy as I was with the meal itself, it 's the service that left me most impressed: both waitresses, Huafang and Haruka , were tirelessly attentive, very kind and genuinely friendly (a big Thank-You to them: Arigatō. Dōmo arigatōgozaimasu... . The exact same goes for the superbly professional manager, Ganesh by name, who runs a wonderful place very well indeed! I 'll be back...
