Bidra med feedbackThis place is great. The portion sizes are unbelievable and the food is phenomenal. My wife and I shared the Mixed Fajita dinner and OMG it's amazing. We highly recommend eating here.
This is an average Mexican place. Considering it's in the middle of nowhere it's pretty good! The service is always good and the margaritas are on point. We normally get the Texas margaritas which is made with better tequila. Husband normally gets pollo azteca which has chicken, chorizo, pineapple and other deliciousness topped with lots of cheese. That is our favorite dish there. Definitely give this place a try.
Si Mexican restaurant, las salsa es una porqueria, no aguas típicas Mexinas, horchata, tamarindo ,Jamaica ni limonada tienen. WTF?! This place has the least authentic Mexican food. The salsa it's just tomato paste not real salsa. Huevos rancheros are over cooked. The ground beef is tasteless, no flavor. The two salsa bottles on the picture are the only thing authentic here, beside the decorations. That I give them thumbs up.
Yummy!!! I am a Mexican food {salsa} snob/connoisseur and rate every Mexican restaurant by their salsa. I could eat it 24/7 if given the opportunity. Now, I say all of that to affirm just how much I love the salsa here!! Dry Ridge is a smaller town so they don 't have much as far as restaurants go but El Rio Grande doesn 't disappoint. This restaurant is the halfway point for my best friend and I so we meet here about once a month for about 4-5 hours. Oh, and that 's another thing, the waiters/waitresses are pretty friendly to us and have come to recognize us!! They never push us out (even though we sometimes overstay our welcome and always say See you next month ! lol It 's very friendly!! The food is always delicious and they have a huge menu to choose from!! The only downside is that the price is a little much for a Mexican restaurant. But, if that 's the only thing then I can 't complain too much!! I 'll definitely be back again....next month! ;
So it's your standard mediocre Mexican food, but on a Friday night they were soooo understaffed that they couldn't even keep up with drinks, then found out they were so understaffed they were using the bartender for majority of the wait staff. There is better places to eat for an extra 15 minutes of driving.
