This drink, undeniably, is the best of its kind.The true stars of the Desert Door experience, though, are Erin and Alyssa. Their deep knowledge of Sotol and their hospitality are exceptional. They elevated my visit from a simple distillery tour to a memorable journey through the lore, tradition, and flavor of this remarkable drink.In short, Desert Door Distillery isn't just a place to sample a fantastic beverage, it's a destination that immerses you in a unique Texan tradition. Great spot not too far from the city to get away for some excellent drinks and a bite! Very inviting atmosphere with friendly staff. The food truck also has food that pairs very well with the drinks.

A really interesting distillery that specializes in cocktails. Their sotol has a unique flavor and the place has a very fresh and fun vibe. Plenty of outside seating with heaters and lots of misters/fans. We will be back the next time we’re in town.

Atmosphere was quaint and welcoming providing full service. Some of the best cocktails I’ve had in and outside of Austin. A beautiful drive through hill country. The cocktails are well balanced and the sotol is very smooth and slightly smoky kind of like a perfect combo of tequila and mezcal. Food truck on site only 2 menu options that were both wild game and not much in the immediate area for food. A must see spot in Dripping Springs!

We had a wonderful experience at Desert door. The cocktails are amazing but our experience was outstanding because of our bartender Kelsey. She was so friendly and very knowledgeable about sotol and advising us on which cocktails we may prefer. We will definitely return and we hope we have the opportunity of having Kelsey as our bartender. She is what made our experience so great. Thank you Kelsey!
