Bidra med feedbackFirst: filled with German speaking folks. Second: I was kind of dreading German food. Third: the service was delightful...language barrier and all...the waitress saw us looking up images of the food and stepped in to help us. Finally: just yum...hearty, traditional, well seasoned large portions in a lovely location.
Go for the pork knuckle, and the cashew soup! Both are very amazing and don't be detoured because of the name I promise you won't regret any of it! And make sure you're hungry when eating the knuckle.
Food is pretty good. I had the roast pork knuckle with beer gravy, sauerkraut, and bread. The full portion has too much meat. The meat of the 1/2 portion was a bit dry, but it was flavorful. The skin in either portion was crispy and tasty. The sauerkraut was good. The beer was good. The service was slower than I am used to in the States.
Sometimes we stay in the Saxon capital dresden. because we ate for the second time in the Freiberger schankhaus to the evening bread. the very attentive, diligent and always nice ladies and men of services are an essential point for it. in the original atmosphere we feel very comfortable. the dark and round the harmonious interieur makes the stay pleasant. after we found a free table without having to wait, we ordered a freshly tapped freeberger beer for all, a glass with half a liter of one of the freeberger beers. that they are really good, you don't really have to mention one. for us were in the offer: cellar, bright, natural, strong and aromatic – fresh, bock beer, dark brown, caramel-painted, savory and full-bodied, pils, golden yellow, crumbled – fresh and hop-toned as well as black beer, roasted-aromatic and full-bodied. the 2022s prices are 0.3 liter for 3,90 €, 0.5 liter for 4,90 € or 1 liter for 8,90 €. there was also the entire offer to bord, the freeberger PRO-BIER-SET with pilgern, bockbier, black beer and cellar beer, so 4 x 0.1 liter for 8,50 € (2018 there were still 5,90 €, see photo! but there was no lust for it, not just because of the price. since before eating the first round of us has already been emptied, I ordered a set with significantly less air than in the returned glasses. what we did, they can see on the pictures. they were two sorts and both costed very well and expected. the short card offers regional rustic, Saxon Bohemian cuisine and offers for almost all a offer against hunger. as mentioned above, we arrived at the end of March 2022 for the second time because we were very satisfied with eating and drinking at the first visit. at the first visit we had beside a salat, once for my shadow the rustic slender house shell with pork roast, roasted blood sausage and grill sausage with speck and acid spice and bratkartoffeln. on my teller were a predator with red cabbage and knock. for me there was also what my shatz didn't want to do or didn't want to do, so I exchanged my empty teller for the almost empty narrative from her. both courts were not on the map at our last visit. at our second visit I found a delicate biergulasch with red cabbage to real bohemian knödeln on my teller, my shadow was also very satisfied with the black carving of the art served with colorful salatnest on pommes frites. the customer tool in the Freiberger schankhaus is made of ceramic in bright biermbels, whose cover consists of the Saxon Bergmann hymn “Glück auf, luck auf, die steiger kommen” in blue. I find it a great idea, suitable for the silver and capital city of the Saxon mountaineerer, randomly noticed, my hometown. Finally, for both of us there was a freeberg fire from the 1st. Dresdner specialization instillery »Augustus Rex«, in matching glasses, but for proud 4,90 € for 0.2 cl. the heart in the kitchen is hot and ready for use until an hour before the end of the opening time. the toilets are in the lower stage and pleasantly clean. historically the building of today's slim house near the women's church is an old Dresden dance. In 1756 the apotheker johann christian stengel opened the apotheke »Zum könig Salomon«. in the years changed the owners, but it popular an apotheke. even the sohn of a miraculous apotheker, the today known Theodor writer, worked as a helper in the salomonis apotheke from 1842 onwards. In 1945 the building was destroyed almost 200 years old. in the frame of the rebuilding of the areal around the Dresdner Frauenkirche, the building was rebuilt in 2005 to historical originals. in the following year the Freiberger schankhaus, for me a culinary enrichment of the city with the kitchen from the region.
To Freiberger bier (this preferred three hundred years ago johann. friedrich böttger, renter finder meißner porzellan) there are deftige dishes.
