Bidra med feedbackIntro As long as there are back reviews from my RK time, I usually don't rely on GastroGuide. In this case, however, I make an exception, as I will certainly not come here the next few years and would like to inform the inclined reader with my trilogy starting with this to the restaurants I visited. Although the turnaround has been so long, my wife and I have not even been guests in the new Länder. That should change. This is why we have a bus trip to Dresden over the Easter holidays with a company located in the neighboring town, which according to our own statement maintains the largest bistrobus fleet in Germany and with which we have already visited many towns in Europe. On Friday we arrived at our booked hotel in Dresden after a 2-hour stay in Erfurt. Just a stone's throw away from the Frauenkirche in Salzgasse. Immediately after checking in and taking over our room, we made our socks on a bright sunshine to explore the surrounding area before the city tour announced for Saturday morning. Around 6 p.m. we had then collected enough first impressions and the famine occurred. Around the women's church, it's just like restaurants and despite the just 8 degree temperature, most outdoor places were occupied. But we wanted to sit inside and warm, eat and drink. In advance I had already chosen my favorites on restaurant criticism. But unfortunately, but also actually logical for these holidays, it was most sorry, but there was no space left. We could try again after 8:00. A last attempt to get something between the teeth already led us to the previously unobtrusive Alpine restaurant Edelweiss. Operation Through the middle of three doors we entered the dining site and met directly on a female service in the Dirndl, who kindly greeted us and told us on demand that she had to ask the colleagues first. Sayed. And indeed, right next to the left entrance, there was a place for us two in a protected niche. A small table that even left a little room for two people. But what should it be, hunger, thirst and knowledge not to start a new attempt in the late evening, convinced us that we stayed. After we had placed our jackets on the bench next to us, the same service came to us and handed over the bound menu. After we had studied them extensively and put them on the table again closed, she was immediately in place and at the same time accepted the drinks wishes, as well as the food, and removed with a thank you. I watched the scenery. A coming and going, the tables barely get back occupied and in the meantime lots of guests were sent away again because there was nothing to do at the moment. The operators must run properly for their money, the ruble, pardon the euro must roll. Even outdoors in front of the restaurant want to be served by numerous guests. I guess it doesn't matter that one or the other Faux Pass happens. After we had already waited a long time for the drinks, a waiter was standing in front of us in a Crab leather and served the food. I think it's good that food is served before drinks, he responded promptly, apologized and said he was taking care of it. No 30 seconds later our drinks were in the right place. During the meal we were asked again and again in passing by changing services whether everything is right. Beverage redistribution was conducted through Zuwinken on our side and then went quite fast. Also the wish for the invoice was promptly given after my typical hand movement. You're happy for every place that gets free. Despite the hard work that the service personnel have to do there, I can only forgive an OK and therefore 3 stars for the service. Food Now for dinner. Since Good Friday was, it should be fish and so I decided for the sweetened fillet from the waller on colorful vegetable bed, with white wine sauce and buttered herbal apples (12,40 €). The slightly thicker bone-free fillets were perfectly groomed and lay above the vegetable bed consisting of carrots, zucchini and presumably radish. The white wine sauce easily spread over the fish and the plate. Everything tasted very well, even the portion was fine. Only with the potatoes I immediately realized why the herbal apples were called. They had the consistency of an apple, namely a certain degree of hardness, which probably had to think of raw food rather than potatoes. Probably owed to the time-ist money factor. My sweetheart grabbed the pasta with grilled salmon strips in lime-herb frame with cherry tomatoes and planned parmesan (12,90 €). The pasta was probably Tagliatelle, who had been in the water for a little too long. Still good edible, as she noticed. She found the lime herbal cream together with cherry tomatoes and Parmesan. The salmon also tasted her, was not dry inside, but grilled was little to see. The portion was a bit powerful and was not entirely managed by her. Well, I finished the salmon. The drinks were Erdinger alcohol-free wheat (0.5 l, 3.80 € . Radeberger Pils (0.5 l, 3.80 €, 0.3 l, 2.50 € . They were well cooled and also well gifted. Finally, an espresso that was surprisingly hot and good and beat to beech with €2.50. For this exposed location reasonable prices, as I find. Okay, that's 3 stars. The ambience Much massive wood on ceilings and walls, both tables, chairs and benches also made of solid wood, the staff dressed in dirndl and leather pants. It's a little tight. On the 4th table, which you actually need for 2 people, there are in principle still 2 people, that is not everyone's thing. I guess I wouldn't mind. Rather the unusual smell after entering the place. I had the feeling that there was someone sitting at the neighboring table and pulled his shoes off until I saw that it was probably due to the many cheeses on the tables. Cleanliness Despite the aggression, I did not notice anything about this issue. My conclusion: To silence hunger as a tourist, to whom the constant whistle does not matter, is quite right. The locals are more likely to come to this restaurant because of the main attraction, the cheese food and the unusual Alpine atmosphere in the area.
...you just sit great at the women's church when it's fresh out, invite the heat radiators and the cuddly in blankets to stay...
As long as you're just passing by, everything's good. But woe you sit. Unfriendly staff poor service. Even though Ms. Fink was only yesterday...
Good food and good service! Delicious röstie and Bubble bier. I recommend!
Very nice here. We like to come back and test the bread brand. GLG
