Randys Donuts - Downey

Fantastic donuts! I got a glazed with chocolate icing and a devils food donut. I'm on vacation here from Ohio. Really excited to finally see the donut shop from Grand Theft Auto in person.

This place was so amazing! I have never been to a Randy's before. Every donut we got was awesome, but that square chocolate pastry and the Oreo donut were my favs. Each one we tried was great! I love all of the photos/references in shows/cartoons that Randy's has been featured in.

Love this donuts place! We ordered 2 butter crumb for $5.4 (each is $2.7) and 2 Matcha for $7.4 (each is $3.7). The butter crumb was one of the best I have had! There was plenty of parking. I saw travelers from all around the world stopped by at this place. Despite the fact that this is a popular place, the wait time was not long at all.

New manager???? Trying to save on costs by smaller portions???? Chocolate twists were unusually smaller. I’m there pretty much there every weekend, so I definitely noticed the difference today. Just happened to notice them making a blended drink for a drive thru customer and the girl making the drink made the comment to her manager that it did not fill the cup. He, who I assume was the manager(maybe not) asked her how much was left in the blender, she said nothing and showed him. She proceeded to scrape as much as she could out into the cup, still only filling it a bit over half. His solution…. fill it the rest of the way with whipped cream….. I love Randy’s donuts… but for the price, I do expect the size of donut we have been used to…
