That Burger Joint - Downers Grove

Very disappointed at this restaurant. My job orders regularly food for our guest. We wanted to give this one a try but it was a fail. We order thru Grubhub and either they need to speak with them about the combo option or they forgot to add the fries. Wecalled to get that corrected and the person on the phone was so unhelpful. We were charged $4.0 extra for the combo just toreceive the burger and drink minus the fries. The lady on the phone is telling me I have to deal with Grubbub but is theirresponsibility to check on orders and make sure they are correct before handing it to the driver. Not ordering from here again.

Ordered a Chicago hot dog, the bun was very cold. No other complaints it was a standard char dog with all the toppings and service was nice/efficient. Note that I came <5 minutes after they opened at 11:30 so maybe not everything was ready yet. Theyshare a space with oberweis dairy and the whole dining area smells like ice cream, which isn't for everyone.

The service was excellent, and since they’re affiliated with Oberweis, ice cream lovers are in for a treat. However, the chicken really lacked seasoning—seriously! I had to dip my chicken sandwich in barbecue sauce just to make it palatable. I understand this isn't "That Chicken Joint," but honestly, I expected a little more given the price.

The burgers are generally quite tasty, and I appreciate that they offer a lettuce wrap option for those following a low-carb diet. However, they don't give you enough fries. I frequently order a large portion, but it's never filled all the way to the top. Today it was only three-quarters full, so I end up paying for a large but receiving what amounts to a small. On a positive note, the burgers at Five Guys are delicious, and they ensure you get the fries you pay for. With so many burger options available, That Burger Joint needs to improve if they want to keep my business.

I apologize, but while everything else about my experience was wonderful, I expected better quality for the price I paid for a burger. I found some large bone fragments in the patty, which is something I would expect at a gas station or convenience store, not a specialty burger restaurant. I really hope the corporate team addresses this issue and provides you with better quality meat soon.
