Thai First - Downers Grove

Had the crab rangoons, basil fried rice with shrimp and chicken fried rice — all were great. Looking forward to try more dishes from this restaurant.

Super beautiful ambiance inside, a little small but decorated really well! The Thai Fried Rice was really yummy with a good amount of veggies and the Basil Duck was great especially with the sauces they provide at the table!! Would totally come back again!

Panang curry was good, but spring roll and potstickers were subpar. The spring rolls didn't use rice paper, and the potstickers were a little dried out. Sauce for potstickers seemed to just be regular soy sauce. Overall overpriced for the quality.

Ordered shrimp fried rice, took them 30 minutes to make it, when I got it and got home I had tofu fried rice. Call back and was willing to just come back and pick up a shrimp fried rice, told me they had to find out the kitchen was going to be open, mind you I just left literally 5 minutes prior to the call, wife decided to go get food from somewhere else so I just went for the refund

Shhhh this is a secret gem. Authentic decor quaint ambiance. Seats maybe 20. I have been here many times and look forward to returning.
