Parkers' Restaurant Bar - Downers Grove

The food was delicious, and the manager was so nice. Our waitress did take some time to take our drink and food orders, but was considerate when she was available. The ambiance and noise level was great for conversations across the table without the need to raise any voices. The steak was cooked deliciously and the crab cake was divine, despite only having one. Overall a great experience.

First time at Parker's and it was an excellent experience. Our server Stephanie was an absolute delight! She answered all of our questions and made helpful suggestions. The food was delicious and left me looking forward to our next visit. My father was blown away with his prime rib. He said he's never had such a great steak! I removed one star due to the fact that my mother's filet came out undercooked. She ordered medium well, but it was definitely barely medium. She was very shy and didn't want to send it back, but I could tell she wasn't happy cause she barely ate half of her 7oz steak. I did mention it to our server and she offered to bring her something else or send it back to be cooked more, but as I said before my mother wasn't trying to make a fuss about it. Overall it was an awesome experience. My father was thoroughly impressed, and as we left he said “Well this is our new restaurant”, which I couldn't be more pleased cause he is often a hard man to impress.

3 couples celebrated our wedding anniversaries on 6/15, from 57 to 61 years. We had a round table in the room at the east end of the building, The room table were great for conversation, very important to us. One couple both had soup and the duck entree with asparagus , and a very good riesling by the glass, a 2nd couple had a variety of shared appetizers, the 3rd couple had two appetizers and the scallop dinner. We had 3 checks Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. The duck was delicious, just a tad too salty.

HVAC system has a hard time keeping up when it's extremely hot and sunny outside well over 80. The bar and the front part of the dining room in particular get warm to very warm during the day.

I had a crab cake and Brussels sprouts for lunch. Both were goid. However the crab cake was $25 for one very small portion. Our server was very good. The atmosphere was pleasant. We could talk without too much noise.
