City Barbeque - Downers Grove

Do not wait to try this place, you will not regret. I can't decide what to order with the judge sampler and share with someone. Perhaps the best grill in this area.

We ordered party packs for an event last weekend. The food was punctual with all utensils, sauces and spices. All our guests RAVED about BBQ. It was fresh and delicious! Can't wait to order City BBQ again!

This place has the best barbecue around in my opinion. I find them to be a bit pricey but not completely out of hand. The pulled chicken is like buttered lobster it is so good. I often find brisket to be lacking but their brisket is amazing. Their ribs aren't the fall off the bone type but are very very good also. I find some of their sides to be lacking but the hush puppies are great. They have six types of sauces they are all very very good. I can't believe that a place has six different sizes and that all of them managed to be great. Thank you City BBQ Downers!

My brother and I visited this place for the first time last weekend and I must say.... we were not disappointed! All of the food and desserts (that we ordered) were so good and tasty. The peach cobbler was phenomenal! The food definitely exceeded my expectations! We will definitely be going back!

Do yourself a favor and get your sauce on the side. Try the meat without it first and you won't be disappointed. Turkey, pork, and ribs were absolutely delicious on their own. Great meat done expertly makes this my new go to for really good barb q!
