Bidra med feedbackGreat home cooked food. Fish and chips fab. Cheap Mayo let dish down. Server spent whole time on his phone. Stroganoff garlicky, not normally an ingredient in stroganoff. Would go back but would suggest ask specifically what you want from the outset. Wanted to rate it higher. Lack of service and some basics let it down.
We won’t be returning in a hurry, very disappointing customer service from the waiter with the beard. We arrived at 15.40 and he asked us were we here for lunch. I enquired were they still serving and he stated yes but last orders at 16.00. This was reiterated a few more times from him. . He appeared agitated that we came in and we didn’t feel welcome at all. His service was poor and unfriendly. We ha s roast beef that came with chips as they had no mash. We ate our meal whilst listening to cutlery clattering in the background loudly. Food was nice but the service was not up to scratch. I’ve had better!
Party of five, three different choices of mains, Fish, Gammon and Roast silverside of beef, all were beautiful. We then had desserts, apple tart, chocolate fudge cake and apple and cinnamon crumble. Quite reasonably priced and the food was all very freshly home cooked. Definitely will call again.
Wow, this was the first time we have been to the Mullberry.lovely setting just off the main Seaford Road. First class service from all the staff. Quality ead sevond to none and price of the food was to a very high standard. There was 28 in our party and each plate went back empty. I was amazed by this place and will definitely be back.
This idyllic intimate restaurant is one to definitely try. George, the head man, ensures absolutely is perfect as is evidenced by the number of people who regularly frequent his establishment; from Church goers to Ramblers and drop ins, all are satisfied by the excellent home prepared food and the skills of George the Chef. I wanted a particular cut of fresh spring Lamb that was not on the menu due to scarcity and astronomical wholesale price. Not an issue for George who secured the exact cut a few days earlier, cooked it to perfection on the day and one could eat it with ones eyelashes. He maintained the regular price to boot! Bravo. Remember The Mulberry Tree when near Seaforde in Co Down. You will not be disappointed with the fayre or value.
