Jake's Wayback Burgers - Dover

Being a traveler I love authentic local food. This place was awesome we had the BBQ burger. Cheddar n bacon fries, bacon burger n mac n cheese bites. Everything was delicious.

Love their food but today I had the 'November Burger of the Month, the Quacked Up Turkey Burger, features a jalapeño turkey burger loaded with all the trimmings, including broccoli slaw, sweet potato fries, Maple Leaf Farm duck bacon and cranberry ketchup, served on a potato chip bun. ' It was awesome! I recommend you do by this month and pick one up and try to get them to keep it on the menu permanently. 2021-02-05 I eat here all the time and the Cheeeesy Is my favorite burger in all of town. I have been using the curbside pickup and ordering on my app for about a year but tonight when I picked up my burger I sat there for 20 minutes waiting for someone to bring it to me and I called three times before I could get through. The first time it went to a voicemail that was full and wouldn 't let me leave a message, the second time someone picked up and immediately either put me on hold or set it aside until it hung up on me, and the third time I was informed that my hamburger had been sitting there for the 22 minutes I had been waiting but I had not called them to let them know I was there. There 's nothing that says to call but there is a faded small lower part of the curbside pickup sign that says holler when you get here. Since I was having a terrible time calling and I couldn 't get through, that wasn 't a much help. I will never order curbside again but I will return to this restaurant because they have the best burger in town. Every other restaurant chain that I have gone to curbside for pickup, I would put a vehicle description in app order and they would bring it out nearly the moment I arrived. Nothing in the app tells you to call and that small bottom part telling you to holler when you arrive is not satisfactory for curbside pickup. I will be going in from now on! I have included a picture from the curbside pickup area sitting in my car. when the car beside me turned their headlights on I could see it on the bottom of the sign..Holler when you get here. 2022/02/22 Fantastic food as usual! Five stars!

My husband and I have tried 3 different burgers there and all three were great. The fries, onion rings, and seasoned tots were good as well. We haven't tried the shakes or some of the other items yet. I will let you know when we do.

I'm relatively new to Wayback because it's not close to my house yet. I had the opportunity to visit when I was in Dover. You definitely make THE BEST TAKEOUT BURGER! The Burgerpatties are fresh and grilled fresh for order. I enjoy the rotating special milk shakes. I wish they were a bit thicker than they were received. Make sure you get the app to earn rewards for free burgers!
