This is a fantastic little pub run by one of the island's few professional landlords. The beer is expertly kept, and the staff is friendly, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Just a heads-up: the restrooms are a bit of a hike, so don't wait until the last minute if you need to go!

Unfortunately, the Big Victoria Tavern will be closed on June 17, 2018. The owner, Robert McAleer, is taking a well-deserved break. In the meantime, you can always visit the Thirty Deaf down the road, run by Robert Jr. McAleer, for another great pub experience.
