The Fish Shack - DOUBLEVIEW

Found this place by chance, best stop for fish and chips. 3 choices of cooked fish, crumbed, battered and grilled. Good range of packs for the light to starving stomachs served with a friendly smile. Fish was perfect and chips great, not oily like other places with fish half cooked and batter or crumbed fish looking like its dipped in hot oil for 5secs then served. Chips and fish are golden cooked perfect. This will be our first place for fish and chips any night of the week!

Top quality fish and chips! My family has been buying from The Fish Shack for years because it's the best around. Very clean premises, well presented, freshly cooked to order (hence a little delay sometimes)

I have been getting fish and chips here since the new owners took over, best fish and chips ever, Spanish Mackerel is beautifull. Twice a week in there, staff are great, beautifull meal every time, support these guys!!

Great to see the New Owners have taken over this place and brought it back to the best fish’n’chips in town. Great food Great service.. just what Doric st needed. I found there new number 9245 4168 and also seen them on Uber which makes things easier with their new name ‘Chasing Dory’

Unfortunately the fish shack owner has changed. my friend makes us go out of the way to go here for the quality of the food, especially the calamari, but today the landowner was not there and the calamari was rubbery and overcooked, the chips were terrible and the fish melt very strongly of chlorine!? paid $30 and threw it in the müll. sad will not return.
