The open mics are amazing!! Poets, storytellers, singers from all walks of life share their story in a safe space.

My husband and I are from the Pacific Northwest where there are coffee shops on almost every street corner. Mural City Coffee would fit right in there. The coffee and scones were very good and the service is laid back and inviting. I come in every time I'm in town visiting family.

We gave them a try at the Poplar Farmer’s Market, and they had a delicious watermelon drink! My husband purchased an Americano and said it was average. For the price and small sizes, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, especially considering the other coffee shops around with better prices for the quantity. But, if you’re craving watermelon in liquid form and have some money to spend, go for it!

Sometimes it's a slow wait to get your order taken, but the coffee and tea are always top notch. Atmosphere is nice for small meetings and just chilling out too.
