This review is long overdue we ate at Rosa Rossa in Aug. 2023 during a holiday in Italy , but the food/memories have been with us ever since and I have recommended this restaurant to so many people! Our hotel recommended a few restaurants and Rosa Rossa was one of them. We only had 3 nights in Venice and ate at Rosa Rossa one of the nights. Our experience was so amazing that we went back again, the next night! I have eaten in restaurants all over the world, but this was one of the most enjoyable meals I 've ever had. Our waiter (Dionigi was so charming, personable and funny that we would have gone back just to interact with him, again! But the food was so delicious that we had to have it again, before leaving town. After asking what the sauce was, on our carpaccio, Dionigi said let me get the chef ...who turned out to be his son! What a prodigy. We had the squid, the octopus, the veal, the carpaccio, the house cocktail (the Rosa Rossa you can 't go wrong! Highly recommend!
