Bidra med feedbackI’ll be honest, I wrote a review that seemed to be praising this restaurant, I was basically. Point is the music wasn’t exactly the best it actually made us chuckle. The food would’ve been great if they actually had all of the ingredients to make them in the first place, the place did look clean so good on them for that, but I wouldn’t recommend if you had to pick between Olive Garden and here.
Nice, stylish restaurant with delicious food, good service, plenty of options for meat eaters or vegetarians, and they have a bar which is nice. Highly recommend! As I always mention in my reviews when relevant, going here supports a small, local, minority owned business.
SO SABI!!!!! For anyone looking for authentic CV food which gives you that “Im back home feeling.” I was born and raised in CV; have been in the states for over 20 years and always looking for CV restaurants “to bring me back home,” and this place DID Absolutely THE BEST!!!! My husband took me here for my birthday and It was JUST PERFECT; the food, ambience, decor and PERSONAL touch to the LIVE MUSIC; JUST FOR THE TWO OF US! We even met the chef and he was very personable and actually cared about our “taste buds/likes/dislikes” I absolutely felt back home; as “real as possible.” I’m coming back and bringing the whole family next time
Nice cozy ambiance, friendly service, delicious food and a good price. Live music is delightful on the weekends. I have been to several Cape Verdian restaurants in Dorchester recently -all good. This is my favorite.
The food was excellent. Next time, I plan to dine in instead of getting takeout, as the food would be fresher that way. However, even for takeout, it was fantastic.
