The food in Las Delicias de La Abuela with friends is as they welcome to the family. This place is particularly good for larger groups. There are picnic benches outside and during the COVID, our friends felt more comfortable to eat outside. We ordered the food to go to the picnic tables, but the staff went beyond and beyond to serve the To-Go food and brought them all to us outside. I highly recommend coming to lunch on weekends where they have the full selection of their menu – the Ajiaco (slow boiled potato chicken soup) is a must and many of their soups (some of the best dishes on the menu) can run out during dinner! You also have live music on some of the evenings. Also a great place to see a football match if you want to be illuminated.

Casual very authentic Colombian food. Waiting time for your food is short. Very fresh and hot served. My favorite side plate selection are: green plantains amd the beans (comes in “bandeja pausa” . You must try the “cazuela de marisco”! Comes with a large dish of secondary dishes (plant, avocado, tomatoes, rice -didn’t like their rice. AVOID the deep fried tilapia, it is NOT good at all, not seasoned, but cooked safely for perfection. The tropical fruit smoothings at time orders have to try (big serving / no refills . And the desserts are so delicious

I had the Maracuya potion (passion fruit)SO GOOD! Then I had the bandeja paiza... Is AMAZING ... Went with some friends and had great service... would Came again a few weeks later... Food was still amazing, but we came after 8:00 and they had a live band playing... I went with a big group and we couldn't talk. We couldn't hear the server. Some advice for the owner does not rent the group or PLEASE LOWER THE VOLUME! If you like to talk to your friends and eat in peace DONT GO AFTER 20 PM

Good service. Nice people, and food was good. Meat and beans was really delicious, the chicharon needed more flavor, a bit bland, but good.would definitely return and try other items on the menu.. a very nice place to visit and eat.
