The Bay Horse Inn - Doncaster

My wife and I visited Bay Horse yesterday, March 11, 2022, for lunch. We hadn't been since the new owners took over, and seeing the blackboard outside that said "we serve fantastic food" intrigued us. From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. The young lady serving us was friendly and very helpful. My wife ordered cottage pie and I had fish and chips. The fish is sourced from the Doncaster fish market, and when it arrived at our table, the aroma was amazing. It felt like it had just been caught and brought straight to us. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and the desserts were delicious too. I would highly recommend Bay Horse to others.

A group of nine of us went to this restaurant on Wednesday for Christmas dinner and had an amazing three-course meal. The staff were very accommodating, providing us with excellent service and delicious food. I highly recommend this place. Thank you.

We had a fantastic Christmas lunch for a party of 18 at Bay Horse in Hatfield Doncaster. We savored a delicious 3 course meal and we want to give a big thank you to Darren and his team for their warm hospitality and for serving us scrumptious home-cooked dishes with all the extras.

Lovely lunch but far too many herbs in the food overpowering but nice would recomend more simple but great that it was home made chips

Been today for lunch and had a lovely meal, my fiance had fajita chicken burger and he was really impressed it was actual chicken breast and not frozen chicken, being vegetarian/pescatarian I was happy to see I could have something other than fish and chips or a jack fruit burger which is a for me and I had a tasty vegetarian lasagne and it was enjoyable the only 1 thing that let it down was the veggies could have done with cooking a lil longer but it didn't change the fact I enjoyed my lunch
