Nana Pancha

We eat regularly in Dolores, and this is a great place for pizzas and salads, pastas and wings. The restaurant is about 2 blocks from the main square and has a large terrace on the top floor.

It's not easy to find a restaurant where everyone in the family is happy, but this one has done it. The restaurant was clean, the servers attentive and helpful, and the food was good. The children liked the playground. The roof terrace was nice. My husband and I ordered the middle pizza with 2 salads and 2 drinks for 210 pesos. The salads were huge and there was a lot of food the pizza was big enough to feed us and our 8 years old.

Now Marchello's very good pizza. It was my favorite until I recently tried NanaPancha. There are more pizza restaurants in the city than before, but NanaPancha is a real Italian restaurant. A little expensive... compared to other places... The place is dark, but that's okay. At least you can see your food! The servers are very attentive. Only a little invasive at times, but always right there if you need them. Be careful! There is a LONG Velcro to the restaurant. So if you have bad knees or a disability that prohibits getting to the restaurant, then call them to make a delivery to your hotel or rental unit. It's worth it. I paid with credit card. You do not tell you, but you will find out after you have signed the credit card receipt that you will be charged a fee for using an American credit card. This fee is about 6%. I didn't care because the food was good. It is on the confirmation that they have explained this to you in advance, but that is not true. The room is dark so you really can't see that fine pressure on the front of your receipt, and they never mention it. Not fair, but... what is fair in Mexico? I recommend it to those who are looking for an evening in the city with a small group. Buen procho!
