Dogliani with its nearly 5,000 inhabitants has been fortunately one of the most intact and authentic countries of the magical Langa wine and truffle. Beautiful hills with vineyards that in this period give unmissable colors, a beautiful old town lived and preserved with love by the inhabitants, many places where ancient knowledge is still handed down to the new generations, who know the true flavors and the artisan procedures that make them unique and inimitable. Many beautiful events organized with the right spirit by young people and less young people to share with tourists their love for their beautiful town. One of the oldest manifestations, linked to difficult periods of the inhabitants, which thanks to the faith managed to preserve the confidence in the future and maintain intact the desire to celebrate and drown in life. I also deserve the excellent wine, the great Dolcetto of Dogliani, which recently chose the name Dogliani, for a better valorization on the Italian and international markets. La Cisra' an event that every year on November two attracts thousands of passionate and gourmet tourists to taste this dish of the poor tradition of farmers, a vegetable soup enriched with trippes, cooked in large pots for many hours by the wise chefs of the great world of fields. Since the early hours of the morning the menu based on this fantastic dish of the so-called poor cuisine, in fact a real mouth of Langa's seasonal cuisine is served by the good boys and girls of the country, with addition of excellent sliced, the classic hazelnut cake and a good glass of Dogliani. For problems related to food intolerance towards the beef, wife,.as every year we choose the vineria Riviera with the outdoor tables on the beautiful square with view of the splendid baroque church with the large green dome to taste the Cisra' and a different dish for the person with the problems of intolerance. A young, cute waiter immediately finds us a place in the cozy dehors. A steaming, naive and delicious dish of ravioli with filling of herbs, seasoned with pumpkin and gorgonzola and of course for undersigned a steaming bowl, of terracotta with the delicious Cisra, that every restaurant cooks for this beautiful festival. A white Arneis and a big Dogliani to accompany a great and healthy snack. The glasses emptied in a moment, fortunately the very good cI waiter reaches with a ready bis. Two excellent coffees and an honest account of 31,00 euros for a rich snack, very good and, abundant in this Langa in party and with a warm sun. We have already been on many occasions on this very clean, cheerful and nice winery, always finding us very well and that we can only recommend without delay.
