Stiva Sogn Plazi - Disentis/Mustér

This is a relatively new place in the majestic Benedictin monastry in Disentis with an attached hall for larger events. The food is simple with a daily varying menu or just a rich soup with sausage and a daily sweet for desert. On sunny days there is a terrasse right in below the white walls of the monastery facing South, overlooking the village and a nice view to the Medelser mountains and glacier. The service is smooth, very friendly and backed up by a very modern kitchen and is just perfect in the place. Bread is baked in the monastery's own bakery. Wine comes from the monastery's own vineyard in the Valtelina. It is almost a must after visiting the monastery, or just to relax and enjoy a peacful moment.

We had lunch here today. The food was very tasty (the risotto was great) and the portions were generous. The service was very friendly. All in all, just a successful lunch.

Nach unserem Besuch im Kloster-Museum haben wir uns in dieser heimeligen Cafeteria mit Kaffee und Kuchen gestärkt. Sehr stilvolle Einrichtung im Kloster, wir hätten noch länger sitzen bleiben mögen.

Wir haben im Kloster übernachtet und uns vor der Weiterreise mit einem guten Frühstück gestärkt sehr zu empfehlen!
