Meiser's - Dinkelsbühl

We were a group of 10 people and decided to have lunch at Meiser’s following people’s reviews on TripAdvisor. What a big regret. We waited for nearly one hour to have our meals and when they finally arrived only six of us got them. The...other four people had to wait for another 30 minutes or so to get their meals and by the time they came the first six people had already finished eating. This had never happened to me before. Every time I eat out, no matter how many people are in the group, the meals are always served at the same time, to avoid the embarrassment of some people eating while the others just watch. I wouldn’t reccommend this restaurant.

Located in the market square and opposite my hotel, Meisers has a goid variety of local dishes to try on their menu and at reasonable prices. I tried the sausage meatloaf which was delicious and a plateful, along with a Radler beer, also good. Service...attentive and quick, and a nice spot to sit and relax in the heart of the town.

This is where the locals go in dinkelsbuhl and one quickly can see why. The food is great with a few different types of burgers, some German classics like sausages and sauerkraut, a fantastic mixed salad and some nice seasonal specials. The staff were really...welcoming and hospitable accommodating our broken German and also of course able to speak perfect English. Finally the setting is really special. There’s a beer garden in the back, a terrace out front overlooking historic buildings and a few different lovely interior rooms. To top things off we met a few locals for whom this is clearly their regular place in town. You can’t go wrong here.

Had a small lunch outside on the terrace. Various foods and drinks. Service was nice. Good place for something informal.
