L'Adresse - Dieppe

This little brasserie was located close to my hotel and, walking around looking for a place to get a meal after a long ferry trip, it was able to serve me earlier than the norm in France. I had been dreaming of 'moules frites ' and ordered them without hesitation. The portion was enormous and delicious... although I was unable to eat them all. I needed to save space for 'afters ' and was rewarded with a very yummy French version of an Eton Mess delight in a bowl. It was all very nice, as were the staff, but I found the price a bit high for what was a rather casual eatery!

Wandered in off the street and we both had the Formule/Menu du Jour and a large glass of wine each. The restaurant exceeded all our expectations and was one of the best meals we have had on our trip for the price. Mainly full of French people having the Menu du Jour, which is usually a good sign, by 12.45 they were regularly turning people away.

Waitress wasnt very talkative. My friend who had pasta carbonara asked for cheese on top and pepper but had to wait until almost finished with his food to get it. My fish was okay. Reasonable experience. Until I woke up in the night at 3 am to vomit my guts out. I hadnt eaten anything my friends didnt until that fish. Nobody sick. I was sick the entire day after as well, trembling and shaking. Please avoid his unclean salmonella trap.

We shared a single order of mussels with fries. It would have made for a full (and inexpensive) dinner, but we overdid it and went for a special pizza (excellent) and a volcano pizza (very good in spite of the unusual bolognese sauce) very good and friendly service, great location on the harbour

We just happened upon this restaurant on a wet cheerless night in December The staff were welcoming, although not speaking much English nor us speaking much French. The food was good, a l’adresse pizza and mussels respectively. Desserts were indulgent and very nice. It was quite busy from about 8pm including lots of take away pizzas being collected The ambiance was good
