Bidra med feedbackExcellent tees, delicious deserts, healthy salads felt like in the Dutch alps; love to come back.
This was the best restaurant of the week of our holiday. Tucked away a little on the ski piste, nestling into the slope it is truly a demonstration of Austrian cooking at it's best! It is so cosy and welcoming you don't want to leave....Their homemade gluhwein is superb, the pancakes with pickled veg and cheese was so tasty and we had to finish off with the home made donuts! They have their own herb garden and sell herbs etc. Loved it! We will be back next year!
This place is very, very special and full of positive energy. the old hut had a very tasteful renovation and you see the love which went into it, in every corner. Isabella and her team are great hosts, very friendly and welcoming and the food...and drinks are just exceptional... all together you feel immediately like home and you know, you will come again and again and again....... and the 'germknoedel ' are just delightful, same as all the other dishes and if you feel tired, or you have some other 'issues ' just ask for the right herb, tea or cream and you 'll be well very soon........ The Zachhofalm is my favourite place here in Dienten and I 've been to many huts in the past, but this one is definitely my number one now...... try it and you won 't be disappointed.....promised!!
You can miss this mountain alm if you don't know where it is as it nestles in the hillside. It is definitely worth finding! It is fairly small, cosy, with a warm atmosphere. The food is made using local produce, many organic, and they have...their own herb garden. We had pancakes with cream cheese and herbs with pickled vegetables, which was very tasty and innovative, and groestl with salad, which was one of the best groestls I've had. We followed this with the special desert of the day- a homemade donought with berry compote and vanilla sauce which was yummy! Well worth the visit!
If you want to get away from the standard food served in any of the mass production type places on the Hochkönig slopes, and enjoy specially flavored food visit this little but cozy furnished place. They use the herbs collected on the nearby slopes to...season their dishes. Something extra.
